Photographer, Editor, Writer

I remember the afternoon my mother and father gave me my first real SLR camera. It was in 1975. That gift cemented my love of photography.

Photography grew as I did. Inspired by teachers, family, friends, professionals… I was trusted by those who allowed me to take their images. For that I am forever indebted.

Now photography lives within me. It has become natural. Looking at colors, seeing the lighting, waiting for the moment to click and say, “thank you.” Photography is a joy. Always changing and expanding. I don’t know where it will take me, but I am ready for the next adventure.

I am grateful for my life’s journey from my childhood in Newport Beach, to studying Communications at the University of Puget Sound, to a professional career in fundraising and public relations, to raising a family and now to re-merging as a photographer, editor and producer. I believe in dreams, being prepared and discovering what you love.
